We handle a wide variety of criminal defense matters, including state court felony prosecutions, Federal indictments, and appeals to the Arkansas appeals courts, the federal Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Our partner, Blake Hendrix, is known as a preeminent criminal defense lawyer, recognized for years for his expertise by Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and other national publications. He was named Best Lawyers’ 2013 White-Collar Lawyer of the Year and Best Lawyers’ 2015 Non-White-Collar Lawyer of the Year. His current and former clients include politicians, business professionals, physicians, attorneys, and judges.
Our partner, Annie Depper, was raised to be a trial lawyer. Her father, Robert Depper, Jr., was one of the most respected trial lawyers in Arkansas. After graduating from the University of Texas School of Law, Annie served as a federal law clerk to United States District Court Judge Brian S. Miller. She has been recognized for her excellence in criminal defense by Little Rock Soiree magazine and other publications.
Blake and Annie work closely with our paralegal, Jordan Fowler. Jordan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arkansas Tech University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, and she is currently working toward a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Jordan’s background and education provide our team with unique insight and knowledge of behavior and the intertwined relationship between the criminal justice system and mental health.
We understand that it is very difficult to face any criminal charge. Therefore, we keep our clients informed about their cases. The rights of our clients in the criminal justice system are foremost in our minds when we assume the defense of any client charged with a crime.
