John Adams was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the Little Rock. He taught at Subiaco Academy before attending law school. He began practice at a large firm in New York working on credit transactions, and later served as general counsel to an Arkansas-based bank and its publicly-traded holding company. He negotiates and documents various transactions for banks, businesses, and individuals. He also represents plaintiffs and defendants in commercial, civil rights, and constitutional litigation. Earlier in his career John also represented the State of Arkansas in criminal appeals and habeas corpus matters, and now maintains a criminal defense practice at the firm. He was recognized by Arkansas Times as one of Arkansas’ Best Lawyers for appellate practice.
