Haley Heath Burks is originally from Wynne, Arkansas. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Arkansas, obtaining a degree in English Literature and graduating from the Honors College. She earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2011 while serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Arkansas Law Review. She then clerked for the Honorable Judge Bobby E. Shepherd of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Haley’s primary areas of practice include nursing home negligence and malpractice defense, labor and employment law, appellate advocacy and general litigation. She has successfully defended clients in state and federal court and before the Arkansas Supreme Court. Haley was named a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2014.
